Tuesday Treasures - Birthday Edition

Hello Everyone!

It was my 23rd birthday on the 15th! I had a lovely day with N and my family- had breakfast at our favourite cafe "The Sour Pickle", went to the petting zoo and had goats sit on our laps, and had cake and Chinese food from Don Mees at my parent's house.

Sadly, all this stressing about school and eating on the go has left me in the perfect condition to get run down and sick. I snuggled down and rested yesterday and hopefully I've nipped it in the bud. ^_^

Here's this week's Tuesday Treasures. Aren't ice cream cones cheerful? Not to mention delicious (possibly my favourite food) If I could go back and have a kid's birthday party again... this is what I'd pick!

Tuesday Treasures

Hello! I feel silly just posting once a week, but I'm in the middle of the practical aspect of my course and am feeling pretty overwhelmed. Typing is my nemesis right now. I can type really well, but we aren't allowed to use backspace, and we're not allowed to have very many mistakes. It is ridiculously frustrating when I know that I can type well, but am not getting the results! I decided to theme this week's Tuesday Treasures on typing! (I know I'm typing on a computer, but without the backspace-- it might as well be one!)

Hope everyone had a great weekend! (Click on the links at the bottom to view details on these items)

Tuesday Treasures

This week's Tuesday Treasures is based on my lovely stroll around Chinatown

Just in case you're new to this blog, Tuesday Treasures is my weekly post on cute and lovely handmade goods I like, made by various artists and sold on the craft website "Etsy". Click the links at the bottom of the page to view these products on Etsy!

Enjoy!

Chinatown

What a beautiful weekend in Victoria! I did some remedial spring cleaning and organizing --- boy does my place feel clean and tidy! Everything always looks better when there is sun shining in-- I'm so happy that Winter is behind us!

I met up with my lovely friend Krista in Chinatown this morning, and enjoyed some yummy bubble tea and catching up. I chose "Bangkok Bubbles"-- Kumquat, Cherry and Pineapple with strawberry jellies! Yum! I actually remembered to bring my camera with me this time, so after Krista left to work on an essay (Good Luck!) I went for a walk around and took some pictures of the city. I also stopped in at 'Opus'- the art supply store, and picked up some goodies!

Old School

Cherry blossoms outside the Sour Pickle. This is my favourite place to eat! The food is fresh, delicious, and ridiculously cheap. The couple that run it are lovely, and it's such a quirky cute little place!

How was everyone's weekend? Are you enjoying the sunshine?

Have a Great Week!!
