I wish I had this outfit, and these lovely cupcakes! Mmm!
Okay, technically my first post was on the 19th of last year. I forgot. Well, I forgot to check, and September has been flying by now that I actually have a job. Considering I spent most of last year doing an intense college course, I'm pleasantly surprised at how many posts I managed to put together. This next year, I hope to post more, write more, and share more of what I'm working on. I'll also be updating my other blog, Dearest Doodles with some of the drawings I'll be working on. I'm going to attempt another sale, preferably at a lower cost venue like a Flea Market, and maybe another Christmas Craft Fair in 2013. (I don't think I have enough stock for one this year). I'm also going to try to make a few more complex/artsy dolls with more embellishments and details. I'm not going to say anymore because then nothing will be a surprise!
Anyways, I'm so glad that I decided to make Elsa, the first little doll that inspired all this. Knitting these little cuties has brought me so much joy the last year. I love hearing and seeing kids happy with their new little friends (and adults too!) Thank so you much everyone for your support!! (please send picture to my Facebook page or to weepingmermaiddesigns@gmail.com I'd love to have some pictures of people enjoying their new friends! (If you include a note saying it's okay, I'll post them in a gallery on Facebook and on my blog!)
If do you read this blog (which I can see people do) please comment! I'd love to hear what you have to say. If you're not much of a commenter, please like my Facebook page (click the link at the bottom of the post) and you'll receive more updates and pictures right to your feed!
Thanks again for reading.
