I'm sure most people who are crafty or arty have thought of this before..." I wish there were more of me!"I could knit, draw, paint, blog.... all at the same time! Think of how much more I could produce! Think of the ideas that sit around in creative people's notebooks that are left to sit dusty for decades!
This line of thinking has disastrous effects on cooking, cleaning, self up-keep and almost everything not associated with being creative. Cloning is not the answer either (though I wouldn't mind having a lovely crafting day sipping tea and knitting with myself.. I think I need to meet more crafty girls!) I've finally bought a notebook...
Ta-Da!
Where I will put all the fun ideas that I have into it. That way, I will always have something to do on a rainy day, something to be excited about, and something fun to look forward to. While I would love to be able to knit a doll at lightening speed (especially last year when I made 30 for the craft fair!) I do enjoy the process, and feel a huge sense of accomplishment when they are done. If I was a human factory--- I don't think they would feel as special. So, I will doodle my little drawings, write down my schemes, and go at my own pace. I'm only twenty-three... I'll have oodles of time to get it all (well most of it) done!
I'm now going to go clean my apartment and paint my nails (definitely in that order)
Happy Thanksgiving!
